The Library provides a learning environment for students and staff, supports school's aim and curriculum and also encourages reading and developing students skills.
There are regular library periods for each class from Std VI -XII. Students visit the library during library periods, they can issue/ return books/ magazines and also newspapers during their library periods. They can also read reference books and periodicals/ newspapers during this time and also participate in library activities.
Library activities include: writing of book review, scrap book making, quiz competitions, exhibition of books, making of book jackets, book cards, collage making, newspaper clipping collection etc.
Students also prepare for various competitions like speech, debate, declamation, street plays, essay, story and poem writing, preparing for entrance examinations.
Library is fully automated with e-Granthalaya, an Integrated & Library Management Software.
A library is an area of possibility opening both a window into the soul and a door onto the world.
